Primary Logo (Horizontal)
Stacked Logo
Use the stacked version when horizontal space is limited, such as in square social media profiles or compact layouts.
Note: Only use the color logo on white, light neutral, or dark neutral backgrounds. On colored backgrounds (blue, green, red, orange), use the white logo to avoid color competition.
Emblem / Icon
The emblem works great for favicons, app icons, social avatars, and watermarks where the full logo won't fit.

Universal Round Logo
The universal round logo works on both light and dark backgrounds. Ideal for browser tabs, app icons, single-logo applications, and anywhere you need one logo that works everywhere.

Logo Don'ts
Never use the color logo on colored backgrounds. The logo colors compete with background colors, reducing legibility and brand impact.

✓ Use White Logos on Colored Backgrounds
The white logo maintains clarity and impact on any colored background.
Name Usage
Consistent spelling and formatting of our name reinforces brand recognition.
The "c" is Always Lowercase
In all documents, titles, headings, and communications, our name is written as:

centrexITThe lowercase "c" followed by capital "IT" is our distinctive wordmark. The green "IT" is preferred when color is available, but black or white versions are equally valid. Never capitalize the "C" in running text.
Email Address Format
name@centrexIT.com Email domains should display as @centrexIT.com with lowercase "c" and uppercase "IT" when possible.
When Mixed Case Isn't Supported
Some systems (forms, databases, legacy software) don't support mixed case. In these cases, use:

Never: CentrexIT, Centrexit, CentreXIT, or other mixed-case variations.

All text must meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratio (4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text). Primary green on white passes at 4.52:1. Always test color combinations for sufficient contrast.

Typography Rules
Do
- Use sentence case for headlines
- Limit lines to 65-75 characters
- Use proper hierarchy (H1 → H2 → H3)
- Left-align body text
Don't
- Use ALL CAPS for more than 3 words
- Underline text (reserved for links)
- Use more than 2 font weights per page
- Center long paragraphs

White Outline Icons for Dark Backgrounds
When placing service icons on dark backgrounds (photos, hero sections, colored panels), use these white outline versions. The outer perimeter is white for contrast, while the center retains the service color.

Vendor Certification Badges
When displaying Microsoft, Cisco, Datto, or other certification badges alongside our brand:
Placement
Footer or dedicated "Partners" section, never in the header
Size
Certification badges should be smaller than the centrexIT logo
Compliance
Follow each vendor's brand guidelines for their marks
Photography Style
Visual standards for photos that represent the centrexIT brand.
Authentic
Real team members and genuine client interactions. Avoid obvious stock photography poses.
Professional
Clean, well-lit environments. Modern office settings and technology in use.
Diverse
Represent the diversity of our team and clients. Include various ages, backgrounds, and roles.

- Show people collaborating and solving problems
- Include San Diego landmarks when relevant
- Modern technology (clean screens, current devices)
Photo Don'ts
- Overly staged or fake expressions
- Dark, poorly lit environments
- Outdated technology (CRT monitors, old phones)
- Generic "hacker in hoodie" imagery
- Heavy filters or unnatural color grading
Photo Color Treatment
When editing photos for centrexIT materials, aim for:

Logo Usage Rules
Protect our brand integrity by following these guidelines.
