SAN DIEGO – July 21, 2020 – centrexIT, an information technology (IT) services provider helping businesses thrive through technology, today announced the promotion of James Desson from vice president of client business to president. A 16-year centrexIT veteran with expertise supporting client operations and IT development, Desson’s appointment highlights the company’s commitment to nurturing the professional development of its staff and providing internal growth opportunities. As Desson transitions to president, centrexIT founder Dylan Natter will maintain his role of CEO.
“Our employees are intelligent and eager to learn, so we want to provide them with individual roadmaps that will generate success and growth within the company,” says Dylan Natter, CEO of centrexIT. “James has been with centrexIT since its early days and has excelled at every one of his positions. I have the utmost confidence James will excel in his new position and look forward to strategizing with him as our company continues to grow.”
Desson brings an extensive level of internal experience to the role of president. Since 2004, he has engaged in almost all aspects of centrexIT, ranging from client facing support to high level internal operations. Most recently serving as vice president of client business, he was responsible for client IT strategies and the company’s finance and human resources department, as the company doubled revenue over the past five years. Before that he was centrexIT’s client business director, where he functioned as an outsourced chief information officer for over 30 clients in high growth technology industries. Desson has also served as the company’s operations manager, project manager and field engineer. He earned his bachelor’s degree in computer science from Gettysburg College.
As president, Desson will oversee centrexIT’s budget and financial forecast in order to maintain stable profitability and growth.
